The following six lines of plain language state what you may and may not do with our web site and the files you download:

YOU MAY
1.	Keep a backup copy of your downloaded file(s) for your protection.
2.	Keep your backup(s) on a 2nd computer for your convenience.
3.	Print any purchased eBook or image for your personal use.
YOU MAY NOT
4.	Give a copy of any downloaded eBook or image to anyone else.
5.	Re-sell or freely distribute any downloaded eBook or image.
6.	Copy or publish content from any eBook or from CRIA's web site without prior written consent.

PRIVACY POLICY

With respect to personal information we collect as a part of conducting transactions and/or communicating with customers, CRIA's policy is unequivocal: We NEVER provide personally-identifying information to any third party for any purpose. Period. Do not ask us to do so. Similarly, if we contact you, it will be solely on the basis of normal business correspondence. You will never receive messages from 3rd-party advertisers offering you the opportunity to "opt out." We regard this concept as fundamentally unethical and we do not engage in such conduct.

CREDIT INFORMATION

As a rule, we do not keep copies of credit card numbers and we do not retain credit information, unless you have asked us to do so as part of establishing an active account or maintaining a sales relationship. Any summarized credit card information accompanying a purchase or related correspondence is always presented in brief form (e.g. xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-1234). Such information is a normal part of our business records and cannot be re-used by anyone.

DOWNLOADS

CRIA uses the LinkLok™ system, which applies a sophisticated encryption algorithm to all links leading to downloadable products. This system encodes and verifies the authenticity of URL's, which insures your privacy and protects us from piracy. In addition, secure links sent to you for the purpose of downloading digital products have a specific "Time to Live" and will cease to operate when the time limit expires (usually within a few hours). Generally, you may not re-download a purchased product after the time limit has expired, but there may be exceptions in which we will re-issue a download link upon request. If this applies to you, please send us a message explaining your circumstances — we will do our best to accommodate you.

CERTIFICATION

Our web server has been issued a secure (SSL) Certificate of Authority, Registered Serial Number 14746052 and we have received Domain Control Validation from ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). The server certification status is presently "Active" and is valid from: 2008-11-14 23:58:02.0 to 2009-11-14 23:58:02.0.
